Find Your Perfect Fit

The Size Guide

Thoughtfully crafted for the Indian woman — measured in millimetres, translated to sizes you know.

i. Chapter One

Ring Size

India uses letters (A–Z), USA uses numbers, Europe uses millimetres. Here's how they translate.

How to Measure at Home

Three simple ways to find your size

i
Using an existing ring: Take a ring that fits perfectly. Measure the inner diameter in millimetres (across the middle). Match it to the "Inside Diameter (mm)" column below.
ii
Using a thread or strip of paper: Wrap it snugly around the base of your finger. Mark where it overlaps, then measure the length in millimetres. Match it to the "Inside Circumference (mm)" column.
iii
Best time to measure: Evening, when fingers are at their normal size. Avoid measuring when your hands are cold or swollen.

Ring Size Chart
India US / Canada UK Inside Ø (mm) Inside Circ. (mm)
6 3 F 14.0 44.0
8 4 H 14.9 46.8
10 5 15.7 49.3
12 6 16.5 51.9
13 16.9 53.1
14 7 17.3 54.4
15 17.7 55.6
16 8 18.1 56.9
17 18.5 58.1
18 9 19.0 59.5
19 19.4 60.8
20 10 19.8 62.1
22 11 20.6 64.6
24 12 21.4 67.2
Our tip: Most Indian women wear sizes 12 to 16 on the ring finger, and 8 to 12 on the pinky. If you're between two sizes, go with the larger — jewellery can always be gently resized, but a tight ring never feels right.
ii. Chapter Two

Bangle Size

The traditional Indian system — measured in inches, based on the widest part of your hand.

How to Measure at Home

The hand-slip method

i
Bring all fingers together as if slipping a bangle over your hand. Tuck your thumb into your palm.
ii
Measure the widest part — usually across the knuckles and the base of the thumb. Use a flexible measuring tape or a thread.
iii
Divide the circumference by 3.14 (π) to get the inside diameter in inches. Match it to your Indian bangle size below.

Indian Bangle Size Chart
Indian Size Inside Ø (inches) Inside Ø (mm) Circumference (mm) Best For
2.2 2¼" 57.0 179 Petite wrists
2.4 2⅜" 60.3 189 Small wrists
2.6 2½" 63.5 200 Standard (most common)
2.8 2¾" 69.8 219 Medium-large
2.10 2⅞" 73.0 229 Large wrists
2.12 3" 76.2 239 Extra-large
Our tip: 2.6 (2.5") is the most common size across Indian women. If a bangle slips over your hand with a little effort and rests comfortably on the wrist (neither falling off nor pinching), the fit is right.
iii. Chapter Three

Bracelet Length

Flexible bracelets (adjustable clasps) are measured by wrist circumference — a snug fit that still lets you move.

How to Measure at Home

Your wrist circumference

i
Wrap a soft measuring tape around your wrist, just below the wrist bone (where you'd naturally wear a watch).
ii
Note the measurement in inches or centimetres. This is your wrist size.
iii
Add ½ inch (1 cm) for a comfortable fit, or ¾ inch (2 cm) for a slightly relaxed drape.

Size Wrist Size (inches) Wrist Size (cm) Bracelet Length Best For
XS 5.5" – 6" 14.0 – 15.2 6.5" Petite wrists
S 6" – 6.5" 15.2 – 16.5 7" Small wrists
M 6.5" – 7" 16.5 – 17.8 7.5" Standard (most common)
L 7" – 7.5" 17.8 – 19.0 8" Medium-large wrists
XL 7.5" – 8" 19.0 – 20.3 8.5" Larger wrists
Our tip: The average Indian woman's wrist measures 6.25" to 6.75". Most of our bracelets come with an adjustable chain extension of 1–1.5 inches, so a Medium fits most comfortably.
iv. Chapter Four

Chain Length

From choker to opera — where your pendant rests depends on the length you choose.

Choker
14" – 16"

Sits snugly at the base of the neck
Princess
16" – 18"

Falls on the collarbone — most popular
Matinee
20" – 24"

Rests above the bust, layered looks
Opera
28" – 36"

Long drape, statement piece
Finding Your Length

Three ways to choose

i
Use a favourite chain you already own: Lay it flat and measure from one end to the other. That's your preferred length.
ii
Use a thread or string: Place it around your neck where you want the pendant to sit. Mark and measure.
iii
Consider your neckline: 16" suits V-necks and scoop necks, 18" is perfect for crew necks and sarees, 20"+ works beautifully with high-neck kurtas and blouses.

Where each chain length falls on the body

Our tip: For Indian women, 16"–18" is the most versatile length — it works beautifully with traditional wear (saree, kurta) and modern outfits alike. Layer with a 14" choker for a contemporary look.
v. Chapter Five

Earring Length

Where earrings fall on your face shapes your whole look. Here's the quick guide.

Studs
Under 15 mm

Close to earlobe, everyday wear
Huggies
15 – 20 mm

Small hoops hugging the lobe
Drops
20 – 45 mm

Fall below the earlobe, elegant
Jhumkas / Chandeliers
45 mm +

Statement, festive, traditional
Our tip: The length of each earring is always listed in millimetres on the product page. For reference: a standard stud sits at 8–12 mm, a comfortable drop at 25–35 mm, and a statement jhumka at 50 mm+.
